Bio:

Welcome

I’m Anna.Β  I offer a sensitive, empathic style of listening and understanding, supporting you to explore and make sense of your feelings, ways of relating and the challenges you are facing.

I see adults with a range of experiences including anxiety, anger, shame, depression, low self worth, relationship difficulties, family conflict, neurodiversity, mortality, loss, grief, trauma and experiences that have left life feeling stuck or overwhelming.

I also have particular experience of working with parents navigating challenges, family dynamics, and exploring guilt, boundaries, needs and differences in parenting styles.

All of your experience is welcome; feelings, beliefs, sensations, numbness and more.Β  I support you towards deeper self-discovery and a fuller sense of yourself through attending to your struggles and patterns, and giving space to the ways you relate to yourself and others.Β Β

This may be through talking, exploring an experiential dialogue, or when words don’t reach it, inviting creative expression or movement.Β  You remain in charge of what we explore and how.Β

I work collaboratively and responsively, staying attuned to you as you become more aware of your experience and what you want.Β Β

I work with you to expand your experience of yourself, others and the world, creating more possibility for acceptance, choice, aliveness or another longing.

My Approach

As a BACP-registered therapist, my practice is rooted in Gestalt and I work for several therapy services, supporting people experiencing a wide range of difficulties and trauma, and with parents through a charity addressing family conflict and relational trauma.

My background brings over twenty-five years of working as a coach, chef, facilitator and educator with people, parents, children and bereaved young people across natural food and ancient health wisdoms, mental health and wellbeing, education, forest school and developmental psychology.Β Β

I trust in your own wisdom, meet you with openness, and accompany you as you navigate your inner and outer world.Β

Bringing attention to a tightly held feeling, thought or belief, and feeling held, seen and met in the present can create a different relationship with what has been difficult to carry, and allow new possibilities for living to emerge.Β

Getting Started

If you notice a need for support, feel stirred to connect, or are wondering whether working with me might be right for you, I offer a free 20 minute introductory call.

You don’t need to share anything in particular, or we can talk about what has brought you here and what you are looking for.Β Β

It is an opportunity for you to get a sense of connection, safety and whether working together feels like a good fit.Β Β

Please get in touch to arrange your call and I look forward to speaking with you.Β Β
